Miguel Joseph Byron A. K. A Dj Shortty
Born April 10th 1988
Founder and creator of Nautic Radio.

Mr Byron has always have the passion in the art of music at a very tender age. Growing up music has always been a part of his life whether it was Country & Western tunes in mom's kitchen on a Sunday or listening to the smooth melody of his father's voice, had something to come alive within him. Rhythm struck his heart at the age of 12 when visiting a relative who owned a Night Club called ("The Supertouch Night Club"). The jiration of bodies to the beat of the music he played spoke to Mr. Byron in a language which formed a dream he had to fulfill. With the mixes of music on Cassettes, Records and CDs, Mr Byron learned a skill few people could master, but he learned to love. From there Dj Shortty became his comfort, his peace and home.

With a goal in his mind, a dream in his heart and the skill of his passion of music in his hands, Mr Byron was set to bring music alive to the body and hearts of everyone who was listening and dancing to the rhythm. Luck can not begin to describe the experience in which Mr Byron went through after meeting with the Micheal " Dr. Beat" Du' Bois legacy to the music industry and a dear motivation to Mr Byron. Absorbing everything that his heart desired and enjoying every moment along the way, nothing could have prepared him for his new found love of music, good vibes and smooth rhythm, but stepping into the doors of IBAS Radio in 2014 did just that. Dj Shortty found a new home with the back yard of the entertainment industry, where the enjoyment and skill was shared with others around him. His shine could not dim but only got brighter with everyone he met on and off the air for 3-4 yrs.

Now don't believe Dj Shortty's journey ended there....... The rhythm wasn't done with him and so wasn't music. In comes Hitz FM where Dj Shortty found the place of belonging, a place above and beyond his expectations, a place where he left his mark or where he made it. At Hitz FM Dj Shortty understood where the balance of mixes, music and entertainment became one. Hitz FM provided the mass for him to grow into the best of his abilities and aiming for heights he knew he always had but needed the opportunity to achieve. Starting off as a part time Dj then becoming an on air announcer, also taking a supervisor spot to assistant manager, Dj Shortty welcomed it all with open arms.

And today like the good book says " when one door closes others will open", with finding his rhythm in the musical era, Nautic Radio was created. Producing clean positive vibes with the combination of good rhythm, Dj Shortty is determined to make his dream a reality and hopefully create dreams for others.
